At HGSS we believe in ensuring our students are aware of all the different routes to employment open to them when they leave school: by being better-informed we hope they can make the right choices.

You are reminded of the invitation to an information evening with Thames Valley Police (TVP) about County Drugs Lines and the risks of Criminal Exploitation that children can be exposed to nowadays.

Students from HGSS took to the West End to see the production of Wicked. The GCSE students study one of the songs from the musical as part of their course.  It was a great chance to see the piece in context of the story. The students had an excellent evening and the performance was wonderful...

‘Walking With You’ is a parent led support group for anyone supporting children and young people experiencing mental health difficulties. 

Celebrations all round in the Sixth Form in our last Assembly of the year.

The Science Department at HGSS this year are selecting a male and female student from each year group as Scientist of the Month.  These students have shown consistent effort in their work, have gone above and beyond expectations or have demonstrated excellent scientific thinking or skills.
